Rich N Chocolatey was our
first experiment of crossing Zips Chocolate Chip with a
Thoroughbred mare. His dam is a mare named Cynical Miss
(TB). Her sire is Bucks Bid who is a grandson of Bold Ruler.
It was an experiment that worked!! We produced a dark bay
stallion who grew to be 16 hands tall and who moves like a
dream! We liked him so well that we decided to keep him for
a breeding horse to produce some taller All-Around and
English horses while continuing the Chocolate Chip line. He
should also cross well on smaller, shorter strided mares to
produce Western Pleasure horses.
To promote Rich N Chocolatey,
we sent him to Jerry Erickson in Sanger, TX to train and
show. Together Jerry and Rich N Chocolatey amassed a large
show record that we are very proud of! To put it in a
nutshell they earned 207 AQHA points, $6415.54 from the AQHA
incentive Fund and many Circuit Championships at The Florida
Gold Coast, The Florida Gulf Coast, The Arizona Sun Country
Circuit and The Boystown Circuit.
Rich N Chocolatey's oldest
foals are just turning three years old in 2001. We've had
GREAT reports about their dispositions and trainability. We
are looking forward to seeing them in the show
rings!
